What We Choose to See
A study of how objects of varying visual appearance look when presented in the same light with the same materials. In presenting these objects in the same light - does this unify the objects visually? Does a moldy squash have the same visual appeal/value as a diamond? Does a plastic cup look like an item of luxury? Does a sausage appear as an abstract painting? These are all questions I have been asking myself during this project; the main question being - is the way we view objects, situations or the world in general, directly dependent on the light in which we choose to see it?
